Each year, the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) conducts a students survey across 200+ college campuses to gain insight on the campus culture around free speech. Year after year, Princeton ranks abysmally low, coming in at 187 out of 248 in 2023 and last of all Ivy League schools in 2021.
In early 2023 we decided to take a closer look at what Princeton students know about free speech and conducted what will be an annual poll with College Pulse, the same reputable polling agency FIRE uses for their survey.
